A Tuscan Dream Realized

DW Travel Advisors recently returned from a breathtaking journey through the heart of Tuscany, Italy — and what a spectacular experience it was! From May 25 to June 1, 2025, we had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful group of 21 travelers through rolling vineyards, charming medieval towns, and the timeless art and architecture that makes Tuscany a bucket-list destination for so many.

Our itinerary, curated with care and expertise by CIE Tours, blended culture, cuisine, and connection. Highlights of the trip included:

· Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, where we explored the Duomo, strolled across the Ponte Vecchio, and admired Michelangelo’s David.

· The stunning hilltop town of San Gimignano, with its iconic towers and delightful gelato.

· A leisurely visit to Lucca and Pisa, where travelers marveled at the Leaning Tower and walked along Lucca’s ancient walls.

· A hands-on Tuscan cooking class at a Florence restaurant, where the group rolled pasta, sipped local wine, and shared laughter around the table.

· Cinque Terre, a day trip to the colorful coastal villages that left us in awe with their dramatic views and relaxed seaside charm.

What made this trip truly special, however, was the camaraderie among our travelers — many of whom joined us through DW Travel Club. Shared meals, spontaneous photo stops, and moments of pure joy reminded us why we love group travel: it brings people together in unforgettable ways.
